On a 14 fret neck, how far from the nut are you guys installing your truss rods?

Ron, I put my adjustment through the sound hole and the end of the truss rod slot stops .25 from the end of the finger board, if thats what you asking. I may have it completely sdrawkcab however. |

Mine end up about 5/8", but for me that's really dictated by the length of the truss rod since I am buying them prebuilt. It varies a little with the scale length. |

That's what I wanted to know, thanks. Mine adjusts through the sound hole also, it's a 14 1/2" two way rod, and I'm starting my groove about 1/2" from the nut. I guess I'm good to go. Appreciate it. Ron |
